Charli - Making Moves

Much has been going on with me. I had another photo shoot on 11-20-06 . Its was right. I think we got the shots we need for the  Cd release. I had another show at the spotlight and we packed about 700 people , It was so hot. My shows get  better every time. I really want to give my fans a great show and not just the same show every time you see me so I practice hard and try to be creative. I am feeling a little anxious about my new songs because  I am working with a new producer  I really want to make good music and I want people to love to come to my shows . If there is one thing I know it is that this is hard work and nothing that great will come easy to me but I am all for the challenge. Meeting New People

Hey,

Well it has been a crazy couple of weeks but I will let you know all about it. I have met some amazing people . I went to the Hip Hop and R&B billboard awards and met so many different people who are making moves in this industry . They expressed great interest in my project and asurred me that I was going in the right direction and to keep moving. The conference was hot ,talented performances and alot of networkiing . If I could only give you one peice of info it would be for you to make sure you network. Before the conference was over I had met with so many people my head was spinning, but trust me it was a good spin. So i am well on my way to getting where I need to be. I have a new publisist and team to help me stay on track. Thats basicically it for now got to get back to work.

Getting There

Hey,

   This month has been such a crazy time for me.  For those that don't know, I decided to move to Atlanta to futher pursue my career.  Hotlanta is foundation for so much good R&B and Hip-Hop music, and I wanted to get back to my southern roots.  The road trip from Maryland to Georgia was long and everything that could go wrong seemed to go wrong, including my car breaking down.  Charli is very hard to break down.  My Dad always tells me to plan ahead and if one route is blocked, go around, over or under, but don't let anyting stop you from reaching your goal.  You are going to make mistakes but learn and keep going.  That's the attitude I am bringing to ATL.  So I am here now and it is all that I imagined.  I have already met so many good and talented people.  I have family here also and got a lot of support from them.

I did my first show In ATL at the Hotel Glen  (Club Bed) at a birthday party for my uncle, Michael Grant, who is heavyweight boxer here.  Let me tell you that place is so hot and performing there was awesome.  I have some great dancers I met here and they helped me debut my new single "Uh Oh" nicely for the ATL.  I have also performed at the Bronner Bros Convention  I know everybody in ATL and across the country knows about the BBC, a huge hair show.  That show was also hot and I loved the stage set up.  You can see a clip on my website. 

So there you have it my first month in Hotlanta.  I can't wait till things really start rolling cause when it does I am taking you guys with me!!
